One Thing You Can’t Do In Heaven

What do you think Heaven will be like? What do you look forward to in heaven?

There are a lot of differing ideas about what heaven is like and what it will be like when we are there.

Let’s consider a couple of things from Revelation. We read that there is worship, and that there won’t be any tears, death, mourning, crying or pain! 1

I think that worshipping God in heaven will be a natural response. The revelation of who He is and what He has done will be beyond what we could possibly imagine!

Here on earth it is a bit different though. We live in the middle of many things hiding and distracting us from the revelation of who Jesus is!

Satan is out to oppose us any way he can, showing no mercy. Jesus assured us that we would have trouble (and provided a way through it) and Paul writes that we know very little here, but then we will know fully. 2

I’m sure we can all say that we don’t worship God as much as we would like to.

Even without the enemy diverting us from worship, we have distractions and other concerns that constantly work to take our attention away from Him.

Therefore, the only time we can worship God in the middle of trials, challenges and distractions is here on earth!

That’s it! You can’t do it in Heaven!

We know from our relationships and friendships here on earth, that someone loving you and standing by you even when it isn’t easy is precious! It touches our hearts!

I believe it touches God’s heart when we stand up in the middle of whatever is going on and praise and worship Him, not for what He can do, but just for who He is!

You can’t do that in heaven!

Be encouraged! Choose to love and worship our incredible God no matter what opposition you face!

It won’t just touch God’s heart, it will impact yours as well!

Bless you guys!
