How Can They Do That!

A number of years ago I was watching a presentation on board the USS Intrepid, an aircraft carrier now museum in New York. It was describing the American involvement in World War 2, and referring to some of the failed missions against the Nazis.

The presentation described it something like this: “The British didn’t plan some of their missions properly” but went on to say that “The American forces had a lot of bad luck with the weather”!

The Truth Will Set You Free

I think that’s an interesting statement. We all want freedom, although sometimes we don’t even know what it feels like or where it can be found.

I think in most cases we view freedom as a place that you have to get to, or something that you attain, and so we set out to achieve it!

Lost, But Not a Loser

Yep, I’ll be the first to admit it. I’m competitive, and I don’t like losing!

I think I’m better than I was, but it has always been a challenge for me to lose well. Most of that has come from the challenge I face in separating the result from my identity.
